Know Before You Go

Your first visit to Stable Support Coaching should feel comfortable, welcoming, and stress-free. Knowing what to expect before you arrive allows you to focus on what truly matters—your healing experience. Below you'll find everything you need to prepare for your Equine Gestalt Coaching session, including what to wear, when to arrive, where to park, and what your visit will look like. Whether you've spent years around horses or have never met one before, you'll be guided through every step with care and support.

Our Playful Greeter

Dress Comfortably for an Outdoor Coaching Experience

Your session takes place outdoors beneath a covered barn in a peaceful natural setting. Fans and heaters help make the space comfortable throughout the seasons, but we recommend dressing for the day's weather and wearing layers whenever appropriate. Choose comfortable clothing that allows you to move naturally and helps you feel relaxed throughout your session. Our goal is for you to feel present and focused—not distracted by being too hot or too cold.

Safety First

Closed-Toe Shoes Are Required

Because sessions take place around horses, closed-toe shoes are required for every visitor. Sneakers, hiking shoes, or boots are all excellent choices. Sandals, flip-flops, and other open-toe footwear are not permitted for safety reasons. Shorts are perfectly acceptable during warm weather, but protecting your feet is essential whenever you're working around our equine partners. Your comfort and safety always come first.

Arrival Information

Where to Park and When to Arrive

Please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows time to settle in before your coaching session begins. After parking in the designated parking area, simply wait near the top of the property where someone will meet you and personally escort you down to the barn. This helps create a calm, welcoming beginning to your experience while ensuring everyone arrives safely and on time.

Your First Experience

No Horse Experience Is Necessary

One of the most common questions we hear is whether previous horse experience is required. The answer is no. Equine Gestalt Coaching is designed for people from all backgrounds, including those who have never been around horses before. You won't be riding or caring for the horses during your session. Instead, the horses become intuitive partners in the coaching process, naturally reflecting emotions and helping create meaningful moments of awareness and growth. Sarabeth will guide you through the experience from beginning to end so you can simply arrive with an open mind and a willingness to explore.
